Logos
Need a logo for your business, organisation or charity? I can design one for you. Some samples are shown at the foot of the page.
What makes a good Logo?
The key aspects are:

Simple

Memorable

Timeless

Versatile

Appropriate.
The Shell logo is a sample of a simple logo. It has easy recognition, unique, versatile and memorable.
The MacDonald’s logo is a sample of a memorable logo. It has easy recognition, and is unique and versatile too.
Over the years the Coca Cola logo has not changed, it is still as effective today as it was the day it was launched.
The FedEx logo is an example of versatility, simple two colours that can be used at multiple sizes on stationery, vehicles, boxes and the like, with white or coloured backgrounds.
The logo should be appropriate for its intended purpose. For example, if you are designing a logo for children’s toys store, it would be appropriate to use a childish font & colour scheme, this would not however be so appropriate for a building firm or undertaker.
All logos are the property of their respective owners and are shown here for illustration purposes only.
A logo does not need to show what a business sells or offers as a service. For example: Car logos don’t need to show cars, toy shop logos do not need to show toys, and food store logos do not need to show food. After all, the Coca Cola logo doesn’t show a drink, and the Barclays Bank logo doesn’t show any money. A logo is purely for identification.
